It is my goal and life’s passion to help others identify their core beliefs and work towards living their lives with their integrity and dignity intact. I have extensive experience with treating others that have experienced many forms of trauma. With a masters in social work, I began my career working as a foster care case worker in metro Detroit and eventually moved to the position of foster care therapist, helping families navigate through the trials and tribulations of their circumstances. From there, I moved into the field of domestic violence, helping both victims as well as facilitating batterer intervention groups. I took these experiences with me to my job as a High School Social Worker in Flint, MI, helping adolescents deal with life’s challenges. After a four year break from social work to stay at home with my children, I have returned to the work force in West Michigan, working at WSCS.
