About West Shore Counseling Services
Agency History
West Shore Counseling Services (WSCS) has been part of a larger vision of coordinated care for the West Michigan area. The vision was created by the agency's founder, Charles Donaldson. He deserves credit for opening the door over 20 years ago and created a niche for the community with men's counseling and support groups. The "niche" in the community may have started with men's group yet WSCS has served many individuals and families.
Today
WSCS continues to offer support to past and current clients with partnering with others to continue to provide services. Our staff can connect you with someone for any life journey. Our treatment partners have experience with individual care such as depression or trauma as well as substance use disorder assessments and treatment. WSCS has programing to assist in exploring relationship challenges such as domestic violence. The journey in discovering the person you want to be can feel overwhelming. We know the right treatment providers to assist you!
